Largely unknown to the public, Whitefish artist James Bakke created an extensive work included portraits of friends and family, paintings and drawings of his cats, still life, and landscapes of the Flathead Valley and Glacier National Park. Bakke has spent seven decades taking photographs and then turning some of those photos into art.
